Mo Lovatt
national coordinator, Debating Matters; programme coordinator, Academy of Ideas

Mo is a programme coordinator for the Academy of ideas. She is also the national coordinator for Debating Matters, a debating competition for sixth-form students run by the boi charity. Mo is an experienced events manager, having worked both nationally and internationally on a range of festivals and cultural programmes, most notably as artistic director for national Holocaust Memorial Day at London’s Guildhall in 2010, which marked the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Mo read PPE at the University of Oxford and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring the sustainability of arts and culture programmes in areas of economic disadvantage and deprivation. She is a lecturer, public speaker and a commentator on TV and radio where she reviews the newspapers for Sky News, Times Radio and BBC Five Live and is a regular panel guest on Neil Oliver Live and Tonight Live with Mark Dolan for GB News.
