Sonia Gallego has worked as a broadcast journalist for more than 20 years. She was a one-man band video journalist at the US network, ABC News, reporting from Europe, the Middle East and South America and, in London, edited and anchored a daily half-hour international news show, World View, for ABC’s digital news channel, ABC News Now.

At Al Jazeera, Sonia has reported on stories throughout Europe from political issues to natural disasters and emergencies and is especially interested in the impact that political decisions on issues such as immigration and freedom of speech.
