Robert Fig is a principal partner of the metals risk team, a consultancy providing senior decision makers at major industrial and mining companies with the tools to set up commodity risk operations. He has delivered over 200 training courses in hedging, risk management and physical metal trading for the London Metal Exchange, The Metals Risk Team and Euromoney. He has been consulted several times as an expert witness on commodity-based fraud.

Robert has lectured widely on commodity risk management to several major mining and industrial companies, as well as academic institutions, including the University of Oxford’s Programme in Leadership and Public Policy, the London Business School and he is currently completing a PhD in Development Economics at SOAS.
