Peter Ramsay is professor of law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He specialises in criminal law and is working on understanding the criminal law’s position as the legal foundation of the state’s authority. He is the author of The Insecurity State and co-author of Taking Control: Sovereignty and Democracy After Brexit. He was a founder of The Full Brexit network and is co-chair of LSE’s Academic Freedom staff network.
