Paul Finch OBE

Paul Finch is a former editor of Building Design, Architects’ Journal and Architectural Review, and co-editor of Planning in London, where he is now a columnist. He was a founder member of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE), which he chaired from 2009 to 2014, overseeing its merger with the Design Council, of which he was deputy chair for two years. He also chaired the London Olympic design review panel from 2005 to 2012.
Paul is the originator and programme director of World Architecture Festival, an annual three-day global event, from launch in 2008 to the present. He is an honorary fellow at UCL and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Westminster. He was awarded the OBE for services to architecture in 2002.
