Dr Pamela Paresky
academic dissident, Harvard; founder, Free Mind Foundation

Pamela Paresky is a social psychologist with a clinical background. She writes about various aspects of illiberalism, including censorship, campus culture, tribalism, and antisemitism. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, the Guardian, PoliticoSapir, Psychology Today, and elsewhere.

She serves as a senior fellow at the Network Contagion Research Institute, an advisor to the Mindful Education Lab at NYU, and a senior advisor at the Open Therapy Institute. She is the author of the guided journal, A Year of Kindness and was the primary researcher and in-house editor for the bestselling book, The Coddling of the American Mind. 

She has taught at Johns Hopkins, the University of Chicago and the United States Air Force Academy and is currently an associate at Harvard University. She recently founded the Free Mind Foundation, a non profit whose mission is to create spaces where people can think freely, speak honestly, and build real friendships across lines of difference.
