Eric Kaufmann is professor of politics at the University of Buckingham and convenor of the new public online course Woke: the origins, dynamics and implications of an elite ideology.

He is the author of Taboo: how making race sacred produced a cultural revolution (Forum 2024), Whiteshift: immigration, populism and the future of white majorities (Penguin 2018/ Abrams 2019), Shall the Religious Inherit the Earth (Profile Books 2010), The Rise and Fall of Anglo-America (Harvard 2004), The Orange Order (Oxford, 2007) and one other book.

Eric has written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Times of London, Newsweek, National Review, New Statesman, Financial Times and other outlets.
