Ethan Green
researcher, Ideas Matter; scriptwriter, Stilicho's Last Rite: Eulogy To Rome; videographer, Pharos Foundation

Ethan is an award-winning researcher into the collapse of Roman democracy and scriptwriter for the play ‘Stilicho’s Last Rite: Eulogy To Rome’. He is fellow with the Common-Sense Society, where he focused on Enlightenment thought. Previously, Ethan has participated internationally as a competitive debater, having won a scholarship to do so.
A vociferous believer in free speech, he is currently writing a paper on the relationship between censorship and the rise of extremism within 1920s Germany, as well as having written a play and being a national committee member of the Speakeasy Group which aims to organise open-platform debates around the country. Moreover, Ethan is an assistant with Ideas Matter, heads the Pharos Foundation’s videography and works as a private tutor and data scientist.
