Alex Cameron
editorial designer; design and cultural critic

Alex is an editorial designer by day and design and cultural critic by night. Alex has written for I Love Typography, Design Observer, Eye magazine, Blueprint, spiked, Future Cities project and the Scottish Union for Education. He recently contributed an essay for the Future Cities project Critical Studies Series book, Five Critical Essays on the Crit. He is the publisher of ‘RePub’, a digital magazine of previously published articles and essays on design issues that deserve a ‘second’ read.

Alex was born in Glasgow, moved to London in his mid-twenties and has just returned after five years living in Madrid. He has three young children, but don’t hold that against him.

He is on the editorial board of the Scottish Union for Education.
