Steve Jordan
director, hyperTunnel Limited

Steve left school at sixteen, had a brief period at the local college to resit some O levels and then went into the printing industry as a commercial apprentice.

He loved it and had a fantastic career, never imagining that he would need to reinvent himself in his mid-forties. Then, the internet and the digital age changed everything. The very short period when we expected to have a job or career for life were over. Today he understands the possibilities, but at the time it was not welcome. He really liked what he did, was good at it, and it provided him and his family with a very good lifestyle.

This new era sent Steve on an exciting journey. He gained good experience in the renewable energy sector, and this ultimately sparked the idea that led to the invention of the hyperTunnel® method of underground construction. Steve now heads the technology development at hyperTunnel, and has held leadership roles in several UK businesses.
