Penny Lewis
lecturer, University of Dundee; author, Architecture and Collective Life

Penny Lewis leads the joint architecture programme at the University of Dundee and the University of Wuhan in China. Her latest book, Architecture and Collective Life, was published by Routledge in October 2021. She studied architecture, became an architectural journalist and edited Prospect, the Scottish architectural magazine before becoming a lecturer.
Penny has lived in Scotland for almost 30 years and has been an advocate for parents; campaigning against the Named Person Scheme (NtNP) and the smacking ban (Be Reasonable) and chairing her children’s parent council.
