Michael has been editorial director of The People’s Channel since January 2022. Michael joined on the same day as Eamonn Holmes and, obviously, his arrival had nothing to do with growing ratings ever since and everything to do with him!

Previously, Michael spent 20 years on Fleet Street, where he was editor of the Sunday Express from 2018 to 2021, deputy editor of the Daily Express (2011-2018) and deputy editor of the Daily Star Sunday (2007-2011).
