Conservative peer

Daniel Moylan has served as deputy leader of Kensington and Chelsea Council, deputy chairman of Transport for London under Boris Johnson and chairman of the London Legacy Development Corporation during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He was made a peer and entered the House of Lords in 2020. He chairs the Lords Built Environment Select Committee and appears regularly on GB News and other media outlets. His essay on The Misanthropy of Animal Sentience appeared in the AoI’s Letters on Liberty series.
Daniel campaigned for Brexit, but continues to express strong concerns about the constitutional and democratic defects of the Northern Ireland Protocol. He has expressed strong opposition to the Online Safety Bill on account of its consequences for freedom of speech and privacy.
