Dr Jim Butcher
lecturer; researcher; co-author, Volunteer Tourism: the lifestyle politics of international development

Jim is a lecturer and researcher. He has written three books on the geography and politics of tourism, and also writes about free speech, education and other political issues on his Substack. Jim is a supporter of the Don’t Divide Us campaign, and is on the advisory board of Academics for Academic Freedom – where he co-convenes the Canterbury and Kent branches.
