Ethan Green
researcher, Ideas Matter; fellow, Common Sense Society; national committee member, Speakeasy Group

Ethan is an award-winning researcher into the collapse of Roman democracy and a fellow with the Common-Sense Society, where he focused on Enlightenment thought.

Previously, Ethan has participated internationally as a competitive debater, having won a scholarship to do so.

A vociferous believer in free speech, he is currently writing a paper on the relationship between censorship and the rise of extremism within 1920s Germany, as well as being a national committee member of the Speakeasy Group which aims to organise open-platform debates around the country. Moreover, Ethan is assistant here with Ideas Matter and works as a private tutor/data scientist.
