Noah Keate
journalist and writer

Noah Keate is a journalist and writer currently studying the NCTJ fast-track Multimedia Journalism Diploma at News Associates. He graduated with a First in Politics from the University of Warwick in July 2022. Noah has written for a variety of national publications, including the Daily Mirror, Reaction and Metro. Over the summer of 2022, he completed work experience placements at Prospect magazine, Reaction and Politico.
While at university between 2019 and 2022, Noah was heavily involved with his student newspaper – The Boar – writing for every section and over 250 articles in total. He served as a deputy comment and deputy books editor, also writing for other student publications including Perspectives, Backbench, the Meridian magazine and the University of Warwick’s official blog, OurWarwick. A keen broadcasting enthusiast, Noah was a presenter on Warwick’s student radio station ‘RAW 1251AM’, covering the heavier and lighter sides of news.
Noah has been involved with local print, online and broadcast journalism, writing culture and lifestyle pieces for the Inside Cambridge website and EastLife magazine, as well as news pieces for Kenilworth Nub News. Since 2021, he has also been a researcher for the community radio station Cambridge 105 Radio, booking guests for their monthly politics show.
Noah turned his hand to extended pieces of writing last year. He wrote a chapter in the book of counterfactuals Prime Minister Priti…and other things that never happened, which was published by Biteback in July 2021. He also assisted the LBC presenter Iain Dale with his new book On this Day in Politics: Britain’s Political History in 365 Days by researching stories and contributing initial chapter drafts. The book will be published by Allen and Unwin UK in October 2022.
Noah has a huge interest in politics, social policy and encouraging public debate.
