Harry is is well known champion of the Article 10 ECHR right to freedom of expression and has clocked up a number of wins against police overreach. His 2020 High Court victory against the chief constable of Humberside saw the police compared to the Stasi, the Cheka and the Gestapo. In a victory against The College of Policing in 2021, he forced an entire re-write of the Hate Crime Guidance.

This year, Harry and Laurence Fox set up The Bad Law Project as a means to legally challenge any institution that seeks to prioritise political ideology over freedom of belief and expression. Harry says that if the Free Speech Union exists to rescue its members from the mouth of the monster, the Bad Law Project seeks to kill the monster.
