His current project spans STEM in HE and is a cultural and thoughtful exploration of the field that focuses on collaborative and impactful individual growth and development.

For Barry humour is mandatory, the current zeitgeist needs this more than ever. He is a staunch advocate for free speech, equality of opportunity and STEM, and has published on this subject in blog and book form. The no nonsense approach Barry takes, grounded in enlightenment values, places him in a precarious position daily, a position he relishes when it comes to debate.
