project manager, The Equiano Project; co-founding member, Free Speech Champions

Zara is project manager at The Equiano Project which was set up to facilitate conversations about and promote the values of freedom, common humanity and universalism. A recent politics and modern foreign languages graduate, Zara has spent the last six years of her life trying to master the art of asking questions about the world around her and think critically. In doing so, she’s been able to contribute her thoughts on London Live, BBC Radio Asian Network, BBC 5 Live, LBC Radio and in parliament. Zara is also a co-founding member of the Free Speech Champions – an organisation founded by young people to promote the value of free speech.
