Sue Cook

Having graduated with honours in psychology at the University of Leicester, Sue’s career in broadcasting began in 1973 at Capital Radio where she was a producer, presenter and DJ.

From there she moved to the BBC where, for the next 25 years, she presented live programmes for both radio and television; notably You and Yours and Making History for Radio 4 and Nationwide, Breakfast Time, Daytime Live, Children in Need, Out of Court, and CrimewatchUK for BBC TV. Sue was a regular guest on Call My Bluff and one of Holiday’s team of reporters.

In 1997 her alma mater, the University of Leicester, conferred on her an honorary D.Litt in recognition of her contribution to British broadcasting. Sue has had two novels published and is currently working on her third.
