Sally is a long-standing member of the Battle of Ideas organising committee and co-founder of the AoI Parents Forum. She has produced several debates at the Battle of Ideas festival, including ‘Telling off the grown-ups’ and ‘Who should teach our kids about relationships and sex?’

The Parents Forum, set up in 2006, has provided a meeting place for those who want to make sense of why parenting is such a focus for policy makers. With concerns ranging from what we feed our children, how we discipline them, and even how we should address them, bringing up kids seems neither a straightforward task, nor a private matter. The Parents Forum has been a great place to discuss these developments so we can better understand and respond to them.

Sally works as a Head of Finance and is the proud mother of two.
