David has taught English in independent schools for over 20 years. He has been an examiner for GCSE English Language, a school inspector, a teacher-in-residence at the Department for Education, and is now a deputy head at a leading independent school. He is also a columnist for the Times Educational Supplement, and contributes to the Critic, CapX and the Times. He has written two books on education, and his latest, Schools of Thought, will be published by Bloomsbury next Summer.
