Shiv Malik

Shiv Malik is a former investigative ​journalist who along with reporting from Afghanistan and Pakistan, also worked for the Guardian for five years breaking exclusive front page stories on everything from UK ​government to ISIS. He’s the author of two books (one forthcoming) including the 2010 cult book Jilted Generation, and is a co-founder of the think-tank, the Intergenerational Foundation. In 2017 he spent six months as a communications advisor to the Polish based crypto project Golem. He’s now head of communications for the crypto powered Smart City technology project Streamr. He is also a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s the Moral Maze.
