Fionnuala Kennedy has worked in independent education for 15 years, after a brief foray in the publishing sphere. Her major focus has been on pastoral care in schools, and she collaborates regularly with the NHS, independent and state sectors and mental-health professionals on the issue of adolescent mental health in education.

Fionnuala has written for the Evening Standard, the Telegraph and the Times Educational Supplement, as well as appearing on ITN.
