Dr Dan Robinson
director of research, Pharos Foundation; author, Natural and Necessary Unions: Britain, Europe, and the Scottish Question

Born in Northumberland and educated in Newcastle and in Cambridge, Dan Robinson is an historian and public policy advisor. In academia and in government, his work has focused on nationalism and governance, primarily in Europe and the Anglosphere. He is now director of research at the Pharos Foundation, a new non-partisan research institute and educational charity headquartered in Oxford. His most recent work, Natural and Necessary Unions: Britain, Europe, and the Scottish Question, was published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
