Caroline Ffiske
co-founder and spokesperson, Conservatives for Women

Caroline Ffiske co-founded Conservatives for Women (CfW) in 2019 to fight the impact of ‘gender ideology’ on government policy and within the Conservative Party. Whereas women from the Left have tended to focus on the impact of gender ideology on women’s rights, Caroline says that CfW were clear that their concerns also extended to broader fundamentals that underly our democracy: the grounding of our society in science; the principles of free speech and open debate; public engagement in the democratic process and broad public consent to policies with far-reaching impact. Yet, she says, policies based on gender ideology, and which have a deep impact on how we live, have made their way throughout the public sector without any meaningful public engagement or debate. Her aim is to challenge this and to reverse it.
