Emma Gilland

Emma Gilland is a politics student, studying at the University of Birmingham. She has written for spiked and the Equiano project, as well as co-authoring The Corona Generation: coming of age in a crisis with Jennie Bristow in 2020. Throughout university she has used her experience in writing and political debate to encourage other university students to become more engaged in social and political issues, through expanding and editing the Redbrick student newspaper. She has previously spoken at a number of events to convey the voice of students around issues of education and childhood.
