Nicky Drury
genetic counsellor, Nottingham Department of Clinical Genetics; former member, United Kingdom Human Genetics Commission

Nicky Drury is an experienced genetic counsellor in the Nottingham Department of Clinical Genetics. She has been involved in a number of Department of Health genetics initiatives and served as a member of the UK government’s Human Genetics Commission.

She is interested in the ethical and broader social issues that arise from continuing developments in genetics from a patient delivery perspective and also in terms of the wider impact on society.
